Fair play
Some rewards in the game are random. This page lists the exact chance of each one. The numbers come straight from the game's own rules, so they always match what happens when you play. Every draw is made on our server, never on your device.
Nothing random is ever sold for money. Nothing in the game can be bought with real money at all.
Fortunes
Your first 8 Road Duel wins each day each draw a fortune. A fortune is one of three kinds:
Small Fortune
Holds 30 to 50 Coins.
62%
Fortune
Holds 90 to 150 Coins and 1 card.
30%
Great Fortune
Holds 225 to 375 Coins, your choice of 3 cards and a 25% chance of a Gold Leaf.

Your first fortune of the day
The first fortune you draw each day is one kind better: a Small Fortune becomes a Fortune, and a Fortune becomes a Great Fortune. So it comes up as:
Small Fortune
0%
Fortune
62%
Great Fortune
38%
Knots: a Great Fortune for certain
Every Small Fortune ties a knot. Once 4 knots are tied, your next fortune is a Great Fortune, every time. A Great Fortune unties them all.
Cards in fortunes
Cards come from your Road pool: the cards you start with, plus the cards each province you have reached on the Road adds. Every card in your pool is equally likely. Under each province is how many cards your pool holds there. A Fortune's card is each kind this often:

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Nihonbashi Bridge12 cards | 91.7% | 8.3% | 0% | 0% |

A Great Fortune's choice
A Great Fortune shows 3 different cards from your pool and you keep one. From Fuji Fields (province 4) on, one of them is always an Epic or Legendary card, picked at random from those in your pool. The others are picked from your whole pool. The chance a Legendary card is among the 3:
5. Ōi River
37.1%
6. Okazaki
39.8%
7. Miya
41.7%
8. Kuwana
49.6%
9. Lake Biwa
52.4%
10. Kyoto
57.9%
Before Ōi River, your pool has no Legendary cards.

Other rewards
Pilgrimage
A Pilgrimage is a run of duels that ends at 9 wins or 3 losses. A run pays Great Fortunes by how many wins it ends with:
5 to 8 wins
1 Great Fortune
9 wins
2 Great Fortunes
Each one holds what any Great Fortune holds, by the chances above. They don't tie or untie your knots.
Road stations
8 stations on the Road offer 3 cards from your pool, picked at random, with cards you don't have yet first. You see all 3 and choose one.
The daily shop
Each day the shop shows 3 cards you don't have yet, picked at random from your pool. You see each card and its price before you buy, so nothing you buy is a surprise.
